Mary Catherine has the leadership skills and municipal experience to successfully move into the role of Deputy Mayor.

Mary Catherine is prepared for every meeting she attends, whether it is council meetings, committee meetings or public gatherings. She reads the appropriate documents, researches background information, and attempts to see all sides of any discussion that may ensue. She works with the community’s best interests at heart in all matters related to the Township.
Mary Catherine believes in the principles of good governance, understanding the roles of Council in forming policy and developing budgets. Asset management-based budgeting links municipal funds directly to the long-term condition, risk, and lifecycle costs of public infrastructure like roads and water systems. This strategy stops emergency breakdowns, lowers total repair costs, and proves to taxpayers and senior levels of government that public money is spent wisely.
